Welcome to Fort Sidney Museum and Post Commander's Home! Discover the trailblazing history of Fort Sidney and Cheyenne County through our collection of over 2,250 local artifacts.
Location You'll find the museum at the corner of 6th and Jackson Street, just a block off the historic Lincoln Highway in downtown Sidney. The Fort Commander's Home is a short half-block walk south from the museum, and your tour guide will accompany you to visit the home.
Admission Admission is free, and no tickets are required.
Hours June - August
Weekdays: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Weekends: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Winter Hours December 7-30, 2024
Weekends: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
